5 day desert adventure

Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades gorge

Pick up from your Hotel/Riad in Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m), to reach to Ait Benhaddou village, the fortified ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural scenery for many movie producers. After lunch, we will head to Dades via Ouarzazate, palm grove of Skoura and Valley of Roses, where we will spend the first night.

Dades – Todra gorge – Risani – Merzouga

After breakfast we will continue our Sahara desert trip, taking the road of 1000 kasbahs to drive around the colorful Berber villages of the Dades valley. to get to Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove. We will continue to the Gorge of Todgha , where we go on a trek along the canyons of about 300 m high, a preferred place of mountain climbers. Afterward, we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara Desert and you will have time for lunch on our way. Once you arrive at the dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will take a camel ride for 1 h30 min, while watching the sunset, to get to the camp in the oasis. Spending the night in the bivouac at Merzouga Sahara dunes under nomadic tents or outside under shooting stars. Play drums with the camel guides.

After the breakfast, you will make the large turn of the dunes while passing by : 2 oases of MERZOUGA, the wandering deposit, the village of KHAMLIA (village of the Gnaoua) mines of MIFISS, the plates desert with the meeting of the Berber nomads of the desert, oasis TISSARDMINE, and return to the hotel.

Merzouga – Draa Valley – Zagora

After a quiet and memorable night in the dunes of Erg Chebbi sand, you can watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by a typical breakfast is served and we go back with the camels to the hotel to meet the guide and have a quick shower, then we leave for Rissani. You can explore the tourist area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove as a part of your exploration. Lunch in Nkoub then continues to Zagora through the Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Zagora.

Draa Valley – Zagora – Telouet – the Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

We will leave Zagora, Draa Valley through Agdez & Draa Valley. You and follow the path to explore the Draa River as one of the longest rivers in the High Atlas Morocco. Enjoy its green palm groves (Date, olives, and almonds.). After lunch, we will continue to Marrakech with a detour to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and visit the Kasbah el Glaoui and crossing the high Atlas mountain.
